BED FRAME

Instead of the very popular tufted look, I wanted to instead keep the lines very clean with this particular style. This keeps it very contemporary while the dusty rose color lends the glam look.

PILLOWS & BLANKETS

It’s really important to mix “wet and dry” when you are designing a space to add dimension. The velour duvet and pillows add the “wet” element to the “dry” of the bedframe.

AREA RUG

I really liked the boldness of this print along with the simple cream and black colors. I think it adds interest to the space without being overwhelming.

ACCENT RUG

The dark color and faux animal hide shape of this rug adds both layers and compliments the main area rug.

NIGHT STAND

This piece is blocky and solid but with raised detailing on the drawers giving it an intricate look.

FAUX PLANT

Pampass grass was pretty much a staple as the faux plant of choice throughout this entire contemporary glam style in this palette. It adds subtle color as well as a feathery appearance that works so well in a glam setting.

MIRROR

This mirror almost had a diamond like appearance. I also love the oblong shape of it.

LIGHTING

This floor lamp actually has a creme shade but with warm light, it gives it a soft pink glow. Love that this works beautifully with the lights turned on or off.

ARTWORK

This abstract piece appeared very dynamic to me. With it’s dark corners and bright whites flowing through, it reminded me of a waterfall.

DRESSER

The way the legs are carried across the entire dresser gives it a “floating” appearance, which is very contemporary. I can also see pretty boxes stored underneath for some additional storage to add more function.
