ACCENT CHAIR

The design style of this chair shaped my thought process behind this entire design. I chose this piece because of the soft curves, light, airy color, yet thick and sturdy seat that gives cozy and comfortable vibes.

COFFEE TABLE

This coffee table works well with the overall design because of the natural finish of the wood that creates dimension with it’s various light and dark shades and matte finish.

SOFA

Playing off of the neutral shades of the coffee table and accent chair, this sofa has more angular curves and a slight sheen that provides a beautiful contrast to the more matte pieces in this collection. The tones of the vegan leather compliment the shades in the coffee table.

END TABLES

With the contemporary style of this collection, I thought it was fitting to have sleek minimal pieces for the side tables. The light stone piece is made with a glass fiber reinforced concrete composite that is lighter than concrete, but gives the same look and feel. The drink stand provides a minimalistic approach that provides function for the overall space.

ENTERTAINMENT CENTER

The neutral tone of this entertainment center helps to tie all of the pieces together. It has a simple design that goes well with a contemporary design style.

LIGHTING

This table lamp has a really nice combination of an earthy yet contemporary look that is seen throughout this living room collection. The earthy wood look of the base combined with the smooth round edges of the shade creates a good balance that represents the theme of the space.

ACCENT RUG

For the accent rug, I really wanted something that would help to bring all of the pieces together without sacrificing style and creating too bold of a statement. I think this accomplishes that goal.

ART

The art style of this painting combines very moody foliage with a serene river and open, light skies. The scene is framed and gives a contemporary look to a traditional outdoor scene.

SHELVING

I chose this piece because of it’s very bold and dynamic appearance. I think it’s a statement piece in a space that is very warm and neutral and adds an interesting element that draws the eye. The curved element of the top helps to soften the look and ties it in with the other soft curves throughout this space.

THROW PILLOWS & BLANKET

I went with a variety of geometric patterns and stuck to the same color palette that would help pull colors from other pieces in this space. Keeping the colors consistent allows the bold patterns to give the over all look depth, while still maintaining a consistent, contemporary design.

CURTAINS

Very light, yet textured, the curtains will help to maintain a sense of light throughout the space that allows this living room collection to maintain a light and airy appearance.
