Here’s a quick and easy furniture set up with multiple uses. This collection can be used for your “outfit of the day” backdrop, an entry hall, filling an awkward space or can easily be set up as a reading nook. Read below to see all of the items I selected and why they work! As always, you can shop the items at the bottom of this page. (Some items were not available so I linked similar)

HANGING PLANTER HOLDERS

These hanging planters definitely have a boho vibe to them. I love the handmade look and the long tassles for length. I really wanted to incorporate some greenery without having anything too big or heavy in appearance, so I chose smaller plants that would fit into these smaller neutral pots.

COFFEE TABLE

Full disclosure: I grabbed this from my sister’s furniture collection but it fits so well with the rest of these pieces! I love the modern industrial feel of this coffee table that has multiple uses. Here, I’m using it as a sideboard/end table. With the look of the weathered leather, iron legs, and wood shelf below, it has the potential to serve many uses and look great in various design styles. The original is sold out so I’m linking a similar one below.

TABLE LAMP

This unique piece comes with a heavy marble block for the base that has a sleek contrast to the weathered look of the leather beneath it. The gold details and edison light bulb give this lamp a very vintage vibe that fits well with the coffee table. The light bulb does give off a very orange glow, so if you’re looking for something for reading or bright light purposes, you may want to go with another bulb or have another light source in addition.

ACCENT CHAIR

This tufted armless chair in cream is so perfect for lounging. While this chair isn’t overly cushioned because of the tufted seat, it’s still pretty comfortable and slightly reclined, so it’s one of my favorite places to sit and read. The cream color also provides a neutral backdrop to add color when choosing your throws.

THROW BLANKET

I’ve had this throw blanket for a couple years now and I tend to move it from place to place. Here, I decided it would fit perfectly with my backdrop setup. It’s soft and plush and perfect for lounging. It ties in pretty nicely with the black that’s in the tapestries.

THROW PILLOW

This throw is actually one of a set. It’s a crushed velvet in a dusted ivory color that has a stark but fitting contrast in comparison to the throw blanket. Since there’s a lot of saturated color in the other elements of this set up, I wanted a neutral to help tie in the white of the wall paint.

TAPESTRIES

As soon as I saw these tapestries, I fell in love with the color! I was afraid of getting anything with too much color because I wanted to keep my background fairly neutral. However, the colors in the tapestries have fit quite nicely with just about any outfit I’ve tried on. I love that the art is very abstract with just enough detail so as not to be overwhelming.
