COOKWARE
This ceramic cookware set is one of my favorite cooking sets and you’ll see it throughout most of my designs. I chose this color for this design to have a neutral tone to break up a lot of the warmer tones throughout.
CHARGER PLATES
These woven charger plates were a great addition to this collection, they fit well color-wise with the rest of the palette as well as provide a southwestern element.
DINNERWARE
Although the pop of blue was not intentional, it still works really nicely with the rest of the earthy tones in this palette. I felt as though the stoneware would lend the southwestern look and the shapes of each piece the modern element.
FLATWARE
I chose these pieces because of the hammered stainless steel handles. It adds texture and dimension which fits alongside elements seen in the southwestern contemporary design style.
DRINKWARE
Initially, the stoneware of this set grabbed my attention. However, as I started to look more into the details of these mugs, I saw the various elements that made them perfect for this collection. The exposed nude base and the lid which doubles as a coaster provide my favorite union of form and function.
CUTTING BOARD
I really like the gentle way the lines curve throughout this teak wood cutting board. I felt as though the combination of dark and light tones would compliment the rest of this kitchen collection nicely.
FAUX PLANT
For a pop of color, I decided to go with these hunter green faux cactus plants. The uniform look of the set of 3 cactus plants helps to give the design unity. The white stones at the base of the faux cacti add a natural textured element.
TOWELS
I really wanted to add in some black to go with the color palette and I thought these striped hand towels would be perfect. The white hand towels are to provide some balance and add in a traditional southwestern pattern.
