Instead of the very popular tufted look, I wanted to instead keep the lines very clean with this particular style. This keeps it very contemporary while the dusty rose color lends the glam look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PILLOWS & BLANKETS<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s really important to mix “wet and dry” when you are designing a space to add dimension. The velour duvet and pillows add the “wet” element to the “dry” of the bedframe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AREA RUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I really liked the boldness of this print along with the simple cream and black colors. I think it adds interest to the space without being overwhelming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ACCENT RUG<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dark color and faux animal hide shape of this rug adds both layers and compliments the main area rug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NIGHT STAND<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This piece is blocky and solid but with raised detailing on the drawers giving it an intricate look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FAUX PLANT<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pampass grass was pretty much a staple as the faux plant of choice throughout this entire contemporary glam style in this palette. It adds subtle color as well as a feathery appearance that works so well in a glam setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MIRROR<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This mirror almost had a diamond like appearance. I also love the oblong shape of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
LIGHTING <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This floor lamp actually has a creme shade but with warm light, it gives it a soft pink glow. Love that this works beautifully with the lights turned on or off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ARTWORK <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This abstract piece appeared very dynamic to me. With it’s dark corners and bright whites flowing through, it reminded me of a waterfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DRESSER<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The way the legs are carried across the entire dresser gives it a “floating” appearance, which is very contemporary. I can also see pretty boxes stored underneath for some additional storage to add more function.<\/p>\n\n\n
